LoL 11.5 patch analysis and S Tiers (GOD Tier)


Patch Notes 11.5 – analysis

League of Legends Patch 11.5 mainly targets the pro scene and all nerfs, and buffs made to balance the pro scene. In 11.5 meta will not change significantly for solo queue players!

Top lanes changes:

S Tier top lane s11 (11.5) League of Legends:

Base stats: Damage growth increased from 3.38 to 4.25 damage per level which is +15 damage on 18 levels. The buff will not affect Jax's playstyle at all. On the ladder, the Jax win-rate may increase by 1-2%.



Ability Q - Barrel Roll - increased mana cost from 60/65/70/75/80 to 80 mana at all skill levels. 95% of players pump the Barrel to the maximum at the first opportunity.

It would seem that increasing the ability mana cost by 20 slightly changes the hero, but the early game will become much more difficult. If you play in the jungle Gragas, then you can also realize the strong gank potential of this hero. However, for sophisticated players who take Gragas to the mid, top, or support - the mana management will become the main prerogative (reusable potion should be the initial buy-in). Now, instead of 6 - 8 barrels on average, you can roll 5 - 6, which will make farming much more difficult.

Jungle changes:

Ability Q – Chomp: Cooldown reduction from 4 to 3.5 seconds. With the last patch updates and buff in 11.5 Trundle become a good choice for a jungle.

Master YI


Ability E – Wuju Style: Based damage increased from 18/26/34/42/50 to 20/30/40/50/60

Duskblade of Draktharr and Kraken Slayer is a good choice for Master YI in upcoming patch.



Ability W – Winter’s Wrath: Damage increased from 5.25% to 6% of maxim Sejuani’s health.

It is not a big buff which will not change meta but will make Sejuani more favorable.



Base Stats: Health Growth reduced from 99HP/level to 92HP/level which is 126 less HP on 18 level.

Ability R – Phoenix Stance: damage done reduced from 50/95/140/185/230/275 to 40/80/120/160/200/240 over 4 seconds.

Even after those nerfs Udyr still a strong jungler that clear mobs quick in a mix of Tiger and Phoenix stance. We can expect a future nerfs to Udyr.



Base stats: Rammus received nerf to health growth: +95 HP/level to +80 HP/level. This nerf ends up to almost 300 HP less on level 18 which can cost a life Rammus in essential fights! It will also encourage players to gear up Rammus less aggressive “build” but to more tanky! However the early game will not change, Rammus can still dominate.

Mid lane:

Ability W – Terrasphere: damage increase from 8/15/24/32/40 (+30% AP) to 8/22/36/50/64 (+45% AP)

Ability Q – Elemental Wrath: move speed bonus 5/6.5/7/7.5/8.75/10% to 5/7/9/11/13%

Ability R – Supreme Display of Talent: damage increase from 100/170/240 to 100/200/300

Qiyana has a good chance to become S Tier mid laner in 11.5. She is a hard hero to play but in good hands, Qiyana can be a powerful tool to increase your solo Elo!



Ability W - Arise – the damage done by the sand soldier has been decreased from 60-160 (levels 1-18) to 50-150 damage (level 1-18).

Azir has the lowest win-rate in the solo queue. The nerf directly aims pro scene where Azir dominates.

The 17% damage reduction will have an impact on early game lane control. The “Arise” ability is usually used to keep the enemy hero in the distance which helps Azir to farm.


Ability R - EMPEROR'S DIVIDE: used to fail to damage champions behind Azir, even if enemies are in the range of ability.



Passive – Stage Presence: does not deal damage to heroes. Damage reduced from 1-16 to 4/8/14/24

Ability R – Encore: cooldown time increase from 160/140/120 to 180/150/120.

A strong nerf but Seraphine still an unbalance hero with high range of abilities. If you are a Seraphine mainer, do not give up and continue to play on her, she is still a good hero!


S Tier ADC s11 (11.5) League of Legends:

Base stats: Damage growth increased from 2.3 to 3 damage per level.

Ability Q – Flair: Damage ratio increased from 80/87.5/95/102.5/110% to 80/90/100/110/120%

Samira has been nerfed since the last patch but in 11.5 Riot decided to bring her back to meta heroes! Will Samira be S Tier?



Ability W – Bio-Arcane Barrage: damage increase from 3/3.75/4.5/5.25/6% to 3/4/5/6/7% of target’s maximum health.

In 11.5 League of Legend patch Kog’Maw will have a new lovely skin so it is time to buff this champion. Buff is very minor but will have more attention to Kog and his new skin.


Buffs and Nerfs:

Passive – Deadly Venom: damage decreased from 3% to 2.5% AP

Ability R – Spray and Pray: bonus damage increases from 20/40/55 to 30/45/60 and duration from 5 to 6 seconds.

A good buff for AD Twitch. The Kraken Slayer can be a good option for Twitch.


S Tier support s11 (11.5) League of Legends:

Base Stats: Armor reduction from +35/level to 32/level armor. Thus, Rell becomes more susceptible to physical damage on the lane and ganks from the jungler!

Ability: “Ferromancy: Crash Down” (W) – cooldown increased from 11 seconds to 13 seconds!

Ability: “Ferromancy: Mount UP” (W) – cooldown increased from 11 seconds to 13 seconds!

Rell shows good performance on pro scene and Riot decided to nerf her for it!

Rell is one of the strongest imba support in the game. Nerfs are not significant for Rell mainers and It will not change laning at all. Still a strong hero!


Ability Q – Inner Flame: Cooldown reduction from 9/8.5/8/7.5/7 to 8/7.5/7/6.5/6 seconds.

Not a big buff, good for Karma mainers, but it will not change bot lane meta.



Passive – Gift of the Drowned ones: GREY HEALTH STORAGE 25-50% of damage taken (levels 1-18) to 10% of damage taken (+25% lethality), increased to 35% of damage taken (+50% lethality) when 2 or more enemies are nearby.

In the 11.5 League of Legends patch, Pyke hero is more support than a mid laner since his HP regen decreased dramatically. However, with the new buff, Pyke can be good sup for any ADC.


Nerf and Buff:

Ability W – Jack in The Box: base damage decreased from 15/20/25/30/35 to 10/15/20/25/30, as well as single-target damage, decreased from 35/50/65/80/95 to 25/40/55/70/85 but the ability does more damage to jungle monsters – additional 10/20/30/40/50 damage.

Shaco is an imba support because of his boxes it is hard to push the lane, counter initiate and gank from the jungle. Very uncomfortable sup. With new nerfs Shaco won’t be less annoying as support. However, with a new jungle buff, Shaco can be a choice for junglers as it will be easier to scale up for Shaco.

Weapon Changes:

Black Cleaver

Cost: total item cost decreased from 3300 to 3100 gold

Health: item gives more HP from 300 to 400

Removed: does not deal physical damage anymore

New: now grants 5 movement speed for each hit for 2 seconds

Black Cleaver especial good for Gnar, Riven and Fiora.

Maw of Malmortious

Cost: total item cost decreased from 3100 to 2800 gold

Good change but generally item is good enough. The problem is that MoM gives much fewer stats.

Serpent’s Fang

Buff: after hitting an enemy reduces all shields by 50% for melee and 25% for range champions for 3 seconds.

Very strong item! Especially good against Sona, Seraphine and etc.


Range: range increase from 200 to 300

Speed: small increase

Slow decay: decrease in slow from 60% to 40% over 2 seconds

Damage: damage decrease from 100% to 75% AD

The overall item became better since the most usability of Stridebreaker is to dash a champion to use utility skill.


Nerf: decrease in damage from basic attack and abilities from 2.5% of max mana to 1.5%. Secondly, melee abilities do 3.5% of max mana as bonus damage and range abilities do 2.7%. Also, abilities deal +6% of total AD against other champs.

Muramana useful on Sena, Corki, Senna, Varus and Ezreal.
